Hong Kong nightlife has one of the best night life scenes anywhere in Asia. It has something for everybody's taste and wallet. Hong Kong provides a vibrant and vigorous nightlife. Visitors cannot resist the temptation of going out and joining the party. Tourists have numerous options from taking a luxury night cruise over Victoria Harbor; visit pubs, bars, nightclubs; or stroll in the bubbling streets with the locals. Even the locals after a long, hard day's work, endeavor into the bright colored streets for some action in one of the many night-spots available. These late night bars and dance clubs are the city's most hip and trendiest hang-outs where DJs spin the latest mixes. Hong Kong nightclubs come in two styles: western or Chinese. Western nightclub or cabarets cater to foreigners and tourists. Chinese nightclubs are adapted versions for the Chinese. The entertainment and dining package is suitable for both business and family occasions. Tourists would love the performance which includes singing, acrobat, folk dances and Cantonese Opera. Most of the bars and pubs are found in east regions of Tsim Sha Tsui, Lan Kwai Fong and Wan Chai. Of the three Lan Kwai Fong area has become the icon of Hong Kong nightlife. Casinos

Hong Kong as such have no casinos but casinos are located at a 50-minute jetfoil ride away, in Macau, which is famous as a gambler’s paradise. Jetfoils run all night just to service the Chinese love of gambling. Passports are needed the for both trip and the casinos – the age limit is nominally 21 years – gambling in Macau is not a sport for the young or the faint hearted. Macau takes pride in nine casinos in all, with dress code ranging from smart casual to formal.

Discos

Hong Kong nightlife is made more exciting with discos. These are popular night spots among young people with its trendy designs, lights and music. They are located in big hotels around Tsim Sha Tsui, Wan Chai and Central.

Cinemas

Hong Kong is the world's third largest film producer. More than 100 cinemas screen the latest films from the world. Watching films in cinemas like JP Causeway Bay is an ideal choice for relaxation after dining and shopping.
